What We are Thankful for this November

A delicious turkey, a Macy’s Day Parade, a football game or a Turkey Trot 5K may be part of the Thanksgiving traditions you share with your families. Like any good tradition, year after year you can feel comfort in knowing what’s planned for the day ahead. After the tumultuous year of 2020 and the continued effects of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, comfort in knowing what’s to come is something we can feel grateful for. Despite the unknown, there have been a few key things that have always remained constant for us—the gratitude and appreciation for our employees, customers and suppliers.

This Thanksgiving, we’re reflecting on everything that helps elevate General Communications to be the best we can be in public safety systems, two-way radios and vehicle upfitting.

Our employees work tirelessly to provide, install and service communication solutions to a variety of industries. They are dedicated to upholding the General Communication promise of giving excellent customer service—an aspect you find often in family businesses like ours. Without our employees, we would not be able to serve our customers.

The customers we serve, whether a school, police department, fire department, hospital or commercial business, have given us perspective and challenges to meet. We are thankful to the schools for nurturing our youth, the police and fire departments for protecting our communities, hospitals for caring for so many throughout a pandemic and for the commercial businesses that provide valuable resources and services.

Lastly, we thank our suppliers. Without them, we would not be able to provide the advanced level of innovation required for our customers’ organizational needs. Our suppliers continue to innovate and serve us every day to help better the safety and security of our customers.

General Communications wishes you, your families and your organizations a happy Thanksgiving. We are thankful for all that you do.
