National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week

In 1994, President Bill Clinton declared the second week of April to be commemorated as National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week (NPSTW). This celebration began in the early 80s in California, before the President adopted it through an official Presidential Proclamation.

NPSTW is a time to honor and thank the telecommunications personnel across the nation that tirelessly work to keep our communities, neighbors and public servants safe 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Dispatch personnel are often heard not seen, but their job duties are essential to keeping the public safe. GenComm sees and thanks you for all the work that you do.

At GenComm, we’ve served public safety organizations and helped them perform their duties safely since 1968. Dispatchers are a key team member in these organizations. We’re proud to have been providing reliable dispatch consoles for decades. Just as dispatchers are available around the clock, our dedicated team of communications experts are available 24/7 to be there when you need them. Contact us today to learn more.
