GenComm’s mission has always centered on providing innovative communication solutions with exceptional customer service. As we continually stride toward furthering these efforts, we are delighted to announce the relocation and expansion of our Eau Claire, WI office.
Beginning March 3, 2025, our entire Eau Claire-based team will relocate to a new facility at 1912 Truax Blvd, Eau Claire, WI 54703. This new building represents a significant milestone in our growth and enhances our ability to serve our valued clients in northwest Wisconsin and beyond.
GenComm is fortunate that the demand for our services is at an all-time high. With business thriving, our current space in Eau Claire was no longer big enough to meet our needs. In fact, the team there has had boxes packed for some time. The decision was made to begin searching for a bigger building almost 1 ½ years ago. But options for industrial spaces were limited, and the real estate market remains highly competitive.
When all the necessary circumstances finally aligned, we were thrilled to secure a facility that boasts 10,500 square feet of space. The current facility in Eau Claire, which we moved to in 2019, is 4,000 square feet. And prior to the 2019 move, the Eau Claire location opened in 2015 with only 1,300 square feet. With each move, we have more than doubled our square footage: a testament to our loyal and ever-expanding client base and to the work of our dedicated and skilled employees.
The new building opens some great opportunities for GenComm, which translates to a wider range of solutions for our customers’ communication needs. Presently, our Eau Claire team is comprised of eight employees, which includes four install technicians. In our current facility, we have hired the number of people commensurate to the space. But in our new building, we now have the room to increase our depth in certain positions, when the time is right.
Additionally, the new facility provides our service team with increased operational space and expanded staging areas. Plus, our vehicle technicians will enjoy a larger shop, for building and storage.
