In these uncertain and ever-changing times, we want you to know that General Communications is committed to the safety of our employees and customers. We continue to monitor the news closely and are being proactive in our practices and procedures as a company. During this time, we will remain open as we are an essential business that provides crucial service to many public safety, transportation, and healthcare entities. We are committed to serving those on the front lines during this challenging moment in history.
Along with many other companies during this time, we are implementing the following:
- All employees who are able to work from home are working from home. Employees that remain in the office are practicing all social distancing recommendations and following important health and safety recommendations from the CDC.
- We have increased our efforts to keep all of our buildings and workspaces clean and virus-free. All vehicles and equipment entering our facilities are disinfected for the safety of our employees.
- We have eliminated all business travel and are requiring that if anyone has traveled outside of the state that they have to self-quarantine at home for the recommended 14 days.
- All meetings communications, and interactions that can be done remotely or wirelessly are being handled accordingly.
We are carefully monitoring this situation every day and following the advice from the government and health officials as to how we should proceed, and we will continue to send any necessary updates as the situation evolves. In the meantime, we encourage you to follow cdc.gov and the World Health Organization for the latest COVID-19 updates.
Our goal is to keep our community, clients, partners, and associates healthy while continuing to meet and exceed expectations. At General Communications, your safety is our business!
