Vehicle Equipment Installer – Madison Wisconsin

 

General Communications, Inc. is looking to hire a full-time installer.

Responsibilities include:

Installation of commercial two-way radios, OEM products, and other mobile electronics into customers vehicles in a timely manner and provide excellent customer service.
Full-Time, 40 Hours Per Week Minimum
Shift/Work Days: First Shift – Monday-Friday
Number of Openings: 1

Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED equivalent required
  • Valid driver’s’ license required must possess a good driving record and reliable transportation
  • A drug test will also be administered

Experience / Qualifications:

Must be able to work in and around motor vehicles effectively. Have an understanding of basic 12 volt electronics, good mechanical dexterity, and possess troubleshooting skills. Excellent Customer Service Skills, Listening Skills and Self-Motivation are required. High-Energy and Professional attitude are required with customers and co-workers. AT LEAST ONE YEAR PRIOR INSTALLATION EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. Ability to travel required. Experience with Windows based software preferred but not required.
